Soft Maple wood has a color and grain structure similar to Hard Maple. However, it is softer and less dense than Hard Maple, typically making it more affordable, with prices often being 20% to 30% lower. Soft Maple is commonly used as a cost-effective alternative to Hard Maple or for staining to mimic the appearance of other woods like Cherry. It can also serve as a substitute for Beech wood in certain applications.
