Taking place from September 25th to October 1st, the Furniture Export Fair serving the domestic market – TavicoHome Viefurn 365 Fair brings together 250 businesses with over 10,000 products.
The fair brings together nearly 1,000 booths featuring over 10,000 products from 250 businesses, showcased in a spacious 20,000-square-meter area in Ho Nai, a renowned location known for its traditional woodworking village and being the hub of the woodworking industry in the Southeast region of Vietnam.
Mr. Vo Quang Ha, the CEO of Tan Vinh Cuu Joint Stock Company, stated that in the decision to organize the TavicoHome Viefurn 365 Fair, they conducted research, negotiations, and obtained participation agreements from the Top 10 leading suppliers of wood materials, machinery and equipment, and raw materials for the interior and exterior furniture manufacturing, decoration, and installation industry.
This fair has also garnered interest from various woodworking associations, major construction contractors, reputable design firms, real estate developers, and more.
The event is scheduled to run until the end of October 1st, and it is expected to attract approximately 7,500 visitors who will explore and shop at the fair. After this period, commercial activities will continue.
Mr. Phan Nhat Truong, the Head of the Organizing Committee of the TavicoHome Viefurn 365 Fair, stated that the primary reason for organizing this fair is the significant potential of the domestic market. With a population of 100 million people and rapid urbanization, an estimated 70-80 million square meters of residential space are constructed each year, leading to a high demand for both domestic and imported furniture products.
Additionally, this fair serves as a valuable solution to reduce the risks associated with overdependence on the export market. It enables wood manufacturing and processing businesses to diversify their customer base, explore new business opportunities, increase revenue, and mitigate risks related to exports. It harnesses the combined strength of a promising domestic market and continuous export growth.
It’s worth noting that domestic consumers benefit from this as well. Returning to the domestic market allows businesses to tap into the still-untapped potential of the local market, providing Vietnamese consumers with high-quality furniture products produced by their fellow countrymen. Visitors can find everything they need for their beloved homes here.
With a sprawling 120,000-square-meter exhibition space to accommodate the showcasing needs of various businesses, the Organizing Committee has revealed that it is being designed to become a modern “World of Wood and Furniture” center by 2024, meeting all demands for wood products, interior and exterior furniture, raw wood materials, and wooden houses.
