Wood and woodworking industry professionals seeking opportunities to enter the furniture market in Hanoi, Vietnam, will find their chance at the forthcoming Hanoi Wood Expo, scheduled from May 29th to June 1st, 2024.

This event, hosted at the National Exhibition Construction Center (NECC), will run alongside the Hanoi Furniture Fittings & Upholstery Expo, catering to both local and international furniture manufacturing markets in Hanoi. With Hanoi being described by William Pang, managing director of Pablo Publishing & Exhibition, as a “vast, untapped market,” these exhibitions present an ideal platform for businesses aiming to expand their presence in the region.

“Trade exhibitions in Vietnam predominantly focus on wood materials, software, and machinery, with a concentration in the southern region targeting export-oriented furniture firms,” stated Pang.

“However, recent instability in US and European markets has slowed furniture exports from South Vietnam. Conversely, North Vietnam presents an exciting narrative. With an influx of multinational and furniture companies relocating to the region, coupled with a significant rise in tourism in Hanoi city, the North promises lucrative opportunities for wood materials, software, and machinery companies.”

“Despite the growing potential in Hanoi’s furniture manufacturing sector, there has been a notable absence of specialized woodworking exhibitions in North Vietnam to connect local furniture makers with materials and machinery suppliers,” explained Pang. “To address this gap and capitalize on Hanoi’s significant potential, we are delighted to introduce the inaugural Hanoi Wood Expo and Hanoi Furniture Fittings & Upholstery Expo 2024.”

The Hanoi Wood Expo and Hanoi Furniture Fittings & Upholstery Expo 2024 will showcase a wide range of products, including raw materials and supplies, woodworking machinery and tools, surface treatment and finishing solutions, fittings like kitchen and office furniture hardware, decorative profiles, upholstery products such as fabrics, leathers, springs, and more. Additionally, Industry 4.0 solutions for efficient furniture production will also be featured.

The anticipated visitor profile encompasses professionals from various sectors, including the wood panel and furniture manufacturing industry, architectural and interior design industries, the construction industry, and more.
