A Workshop Introducing the Vietnam-U.S. Timber Trade Agreement and Lacey Act is about to take place.

On November 29, 2023, a workshop introducing the Vietnam-U.S. Timber Trade Agreement and the Lacey Act will take place. The event is organized by the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

The workshop will be held at the Fortuna Hotel (6B Lang Ha, Thanh Cong, Ba Dinh, Hanoi) from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The event is free of charge and will be conducted in both English and Vietnamese.

The workshop will provide members of the Vietnamese business community with information on the roles of the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in implementing the U.S.-Vietnam Timber Trade Agreement. Topics covered will include details about the Lacey Act, as well as techniques and technologies for wood identification.
