Upcoming seminar “Sustainable development and challenges facing the Wood industry”

The seminar ” Sustainable development and challenges facing the Wood industry ” is a collaborative effort between the Vietnamese Timber and Forest Products Association, Wood Associations (HAWA, BIFA, DOWA, FPA Binh Dinh), and Forest Trends organization.

  • Sharing details with involved parties about recent domestic rules and international markets concerning the legality and sustainability of timber goods, encompassing regulations related to product emissions.
  • Engaging in conversations about the benefits and obstacles encountered by participants in the supply chain, which includes businesses associated with the organization and traditional craft communities, in aligning with these regulations.
  • Putting forth suggestions to regulatory bodies and industry enterprises to enhance adherence to the mentioned regulations, broaden market reach, and foster sustainable growth in the sector moving forward.
  1. Time: From 13:15, Thursday, December 21, 2023. The program includes a seminar.
  2. Venue: Live at Fortuna Hotel, 6B Lang Ha, Dong Da, Hanoi; Online via Zoom, the organizers will send the participation link later.
