Seminar on Assessing Bilateral Trade with The US in The First 6 Months of 2023

The United States is Vietnam’s number one important export market, but it is also a market that imposes many high standards and tends to use more and more trade-restrictive measures for goods exported from Vietnam.

To review the import and export situation with the US market, the European – American Market Department, the Ministry of Industry and Trade organized an online seminar with the topic “ASSESSMENT OF THE IMPORT AND EXPORT SITUATION WITH US MARKET IN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS AND OUTLOOK FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS”.

This is a regular talk show program, organized monthly by the European – American Market Department and broadcast on online platforms; aiming to update import and export situation, policy developments; establish information channels for businesses to connect with management agencies and find partners; help businesses better understand the orientation and nature of economic and trade policies of the United States, thereby promoting the development of economic, trade and investment relations between Vietnam and the United States in the coming years. .

The seminar aimed to assess Vietnam’s import and export activities with the United States in 2022 and the first two quarters of 2023. From there, it suggested the directions that businesses need to pay attention to to be able to promote import and export in the coming years last month of the year.
